My 2013 Pole Dance Goals

This is my pole dance checklist. I thought hard about the moves I REALLY need to master and I know the superman, aysha and shoulder mount invert are all fantastic ones that will help me transition into stronger, more dynamic combos. Then I can get those routines I fantasize about into reality.

These goals are realistic to me -- I'm sure of that. These are all moves I've managed to hit on a sporadic basis, but I don't feel confident 100% of the time. And it's that 100% I'm going to strive for.

I'm going to be like, "Oh, you want a shoulder mount invert? No problem!" And be all BOOM, I got it. Here you go. Done. Signed and Delivered.

Yes. :) I'm going to have to prove it through the year by taping more practice sessions. Who's with me? What are your pole goals?

  1. Well, i've been doing pole for just 3 months, so i'm not doing very tricky moves yet. So my pole goals for the next year is to do the superman, away from the floor (i do it from the floor, because its scary), the angel's move and the shoulder mount!!! Sorry for the poor english, i'm from brazil, and haven't practice too much my english! =) Let's pole, girls!!

  5. Happy New Year! My current goal is the flag (where you grip with your armpit and hands) I'm at that "sporadically ok" stage with that one and it bugs me!

  6. Oh, I really want to be able to do the twisted grip lift and the reverse shoulder mount (i've never tried it, seems to be scary). And the aerial shoulder mount invert would be even better, you're right. I think my most important goal is becoming more flexible (I really want the splits).

  9. If you have got bother with absorbing the dance pole, you are not alone! many folks have issues with their hands slippy on their dance pole throughout spins and tricks. Lack of strength and environmental factors will influence your ability to excellent a move.
